These images depict life in a Seminole Indian camp during the late 1800's during time of war or on hunting expeditions.

During re-enactments, the participants are in character the entire weekend, camping and living as if they would have in the time they are depicting, even when the audience goes home.

I have recently begun to shoot battle re-enactments.

I find these events to be inspiring and educational both from a historic and a photographic point of view.

The actors at these events are volunteers, often driving across the country to participate in the event because of a love of history or a personal connection.

I hope you will agree, it's almost like "You were There!"

Please DO NOT copy screen shots, they are posted as screen resolution and will therefore not print adequately. They would make a nice gift for a collector, a historian or if you represent the sponsoring event itself, a nice thank you for the participants.
