Arguably the most romantic and legendary of dances, the Tango is born of the streets and neighborhoods if Argentina where ut is not only a passion but the national pastime. These images are taken in one of the mist colorful neighborhoods of Buenos Aires just before the afternoon siesta.
A small restaurant on the town square, the dancers solicit passerbys on the sidewalk, then clear the tables inside turning the venue into a dance floor while they perform for tips.
